I am pleased to present an opportunity for an Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor based in the Birmingham area. This position, initially offered on a temporary basis, but with the opportunity to go permanent.

The hourly rate will be between 17.91 - 28.00 through an Umbrella/CIS Company.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing all costs relating to building and engineering projects.
Perform risk, value management and cost control during projects.
Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.
Assist in establishing organisation's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
Work closely with the Senior Cost Consultant to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
Assist in the negotiation of contracts and work schedules.
Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities.
Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
